Is Gold Diary free?
Yes. The calculator, gold rates, History, iCloud sync and My Gold for up to 5 pieces are free, with no ads. Pro is a one-time purchase that adds as many pieces as you like, zakat, reports and more.
Who can see my data?
Only you. Your data stays on your devices and, if you turn iCloud on, in your own iCloud account. The developer runs no servers and has no access to it.
Do I need an account?
No. There is nothing to sign up for. iCloud sync uses the Apple Account already on your iPhone or iPad.
Where do the gold rates come from?
From public sources for your region, such as national gold associations, banks, dealers and international market prices. Rates are for reference: a jeweller's own rate may differ, and you can enter your own.
I used GoldCal. Is my data still there?
Yes. Gold Diary was called GoldCal. Your calculations, settings and purchase are all still there, and anyone who bought Remove Ads has Pro.
Does it work on iPad?
Yes. Gold Diary is made for iPhone and iPad, and iCloud keeps them in step.
Is there an Android version?
Not yet. Gold Diary is available for iPhone and iPad.
How do I restore Pro on a new device?
Open Settings › Purchases in Gold Diary, or My Gold's Pro screen, and tap Restore purchase. Use the same Apple Account you bought it with.
